Webelos Visiting

Posted on Nov 21 2014 - 4:35pm

We hosted two Webelos at our Nov. 18 meeting.  We had Rian S. from Pack 15 and Julian S. from Pack 20.  We anticipate hosting more from Pack 15 and Pack 61 soon.

December service activities

Posted on Nov 21 2014 - 4:04pm

The troop has two opportunities to give back to the community. On Dec. 6 we have two 2-hours slots to ring bells for Salvation Army at Super Saver on 27th & Cornhusker and at Shopko on 27th & Hiway 2.  There is a great shortage of bell ringers this year, so it means that much more to the Salvation Army that we are ringing again.

Annual Planning Success

Posted on Nov 15 2014 - 7:34pm

Our SPL, QM, Scribe, three patrol leaders and one JASM put together a good program for this next year. In addition to putting on a camping location we haven't used in a few years, they are reconfiguring the meeting format a little.

Meeting Oct. 13

Posted on Oct 13 2014 - 7:50am

There is a regular meeting tonight that is preceded by unpacking of the trailer.  Tonight is also the committee meeting in the parlor.

October outing

Posted on Oct 4 2014 - 9:06pm

Permission slips for the October outing were due last Monday. We have very few scouts signed up, including few of our leadership. We will be at Bluestem Lake for a Friday through Sunday.  In addition to the usual fun activities, the Venture Patrol is looking at kayaking. We will also get to enjoy the changing colors of fall.

Thanks to the Pros

Posted on Sep 30 2014 - 12:14pm

A big thanks to Chris and Mary Pro who rode with us on the bike hike at our September outing.  Chris Pro, who is acquainted with Chris Foged, was a competitive biker who still trains for long rides.  Mr. Pro is considering beinga counselor for the biking MB.
